Our Story
Welcome to Waterfront House & Restaurant in Enniscrone.
Founded in 2002 on Cliff Road in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo, Waterfront House is a 16-room hotel with truly unique views of Killala Bay and the surrounding landscape.
Positioned right on the sea road, guests at Waterfront House can fall asleep to the sound of the sea. We hope to provide the most relaxing stay accompanied by the most spectacular views. Our team is made up of local hoteliers and chefs from the area providing an experience that is built around the land of the shells.

Mark
Head Chef
Creative enthusiastic chef with over 18 years’ experience. Benefits from a breadth of international exposure having acquired professional experience. Mark learned his trade locally by working his way through the ranks in local institutions. These experiences shaped Mark’s desire for local produce and passion for Killala Bay.
After graduating from one of Ireland’s top culinary schools, Mark spent over a decade working across the country in Ireland’s best tourist towns and cities forming valuable experience. Growing up on the seafront, Mark’s core passion has always been local produce from Killala Bay. He takes great pride in incorporating local seaweed into delicious seafood dishes and brown bread at Waterfront House & Restaurant.

We are devoted to protecting the environment and committed to the responsible use of energy, water, and minerals. From our coffee cups, laundry, kitchen, and energy usage, we take responsibility for the environmental impact of how we run our business very seriously, and this ethos is instilled throughout our team.
We are committed to the local community, teaming up with local providers for our packages, local photographers and artists for our walls, local food suppliers, local seaweed, and local coffee roasters. We aim to bring the best possible West of Ireland experience to our guests.
